Well here we are in the Northwest, enjoying an extended summer with sunny skies and having almost broke the record of no rain in 51 days.  We made it to 48 or 49.  Just got rain overnight with possibilities of more to come, but that’s ok. All our beautiful greenery was needing a good drink of Nature’s water.  And, the sun is shining again.  We really appreciate the sun over in this part of the world, as we often go many many days without it once the late Fall sets in and the rains and…

I’ve been playing and enjoying the Northwest’s late arrival of summer. Summertime, for me, is a time to take it easier, slow down and not have so much on my plate.  What’s been happening with your summer?  Have you gotten in that essential “play time”I wrote about last month? I hope you’ve gotten to connect in with the part of you that can be silly, carefree and loves to play, just like a child! How about that needed get away time? Did you get it, getting ready for it? I sure hope so.  It’s so…

Ok, here’s the deal!    I’m committed to helping you manage your stress, anxiety and hopelessness, in whatever area of your life you’re feeling it or however those negative thoughts and feelings may be affecting you. As we continue to navigate our lives during this pandemic, now, more than ever, is it so vital to regain feelings of control and some peace of mind! I want you to know it can be different, in a positive healthy way.  You don’t have to use food, cigarettes, or negative behaviors of any sort to manage your anxiety,…

But with the economy being as it’s been in the last few years and all the many challenges that many people have faced in light of that, the vision of our own prosperity can seem like a tiny, inflatable raft in an ocean of fear. In such unstable times, the pursuit of happiness can feel like a taunt rather…

Check out this article I co-wrote with 2 other dental professionals. I love combining my two careers of dental hygiene and hypnotherapy.   I’ve been using these techniques I wrote about for many years now for any of my “needle” fearful patients, as well as for any patients who are generally anxious in the dental office. And, they work! Be sure to ask your dental professional if they can support you in using your powerful mind in overcoming fears around “needles” in the dental office. Here is the link to the article:   “Mind Over…

Hope you had a fun day off celebrating the 4th of July! My husband and I spent a quiet day being around the house, but managed to get over to our local park for a concert and a fabulous fireworks display. I love our small town that manages to put on these types of events for the community.  I feel quite blessed to be living in such a great place. We’re finally warming up here in the Northwest.  Our “official” summer, which usually starts right around the 4th of July, has begun!  Yeah!  I’m…
