Spring’s Invitation to YOU! by Jackie Foskett, CH Welcome to Spring!  Ah…such a great time of the year.  I love how Spring shows us the beauty of Mother Nature and her renewal capacity as leaves unfold and color bursts forth. There is an energy in the air that speaks highly of hope and possibility.  It’s refreshing after a long winter of Mother Nature’s hibernation, when she was resting and restoring.  I still get amazed each and every year at the grandeur of results she produces after seemingly lying dormant and doing “nothing” for all that…

Happy Holidays! I love the Holidays, yet I’m always amazed at how quickly they seem to come around each year. I attribute this “time distortion” to my full life and the many choices I have in what I do and experience on a daily basis. I love having a life rich and abundant with so many possibilities. And…those many possibilities can be overwhelming if I lose my focus on what it is I really want. The benefits of feeling appreciation and gratitude are numerous. Yet, we often get distracted by what we don’t have in our lives, which keeps us feeling less joy, more discouraged and sometimes even resigned to a life of “nothing ever changes”. I know I need to stop smoking, but it’s too hard. That person always gets me so stressed out! If you recognize yourself in any of these statements, or similar ones, you are not alone. Even though we want to change some behavior, some attitude, or some circumstances in our lives, often it can feel like it’s a never ending “battle” to affect that change. Why…

Focus on what you want It’s not about what you don’t want, it’s about what you DO want. That’s what will give you motivational “zing”! So, be sure to define what it is you want to have, do, or begin. Be clear. Have you ever tried focusing in on something fuzzy? Doesn’t feel good, does it? Be clear and you’ll feel the energy of your goal. Use your imagination Engage your imagination as you focus on your goal. Imagine yourself doing what it is you set out to accomplish. See/sense/feel yourself doing it, making it,…

Balance and Simplicity bby Jackie Foskett, CH This morning as I was having my meditation-connection time,  I picked up a book called “The Woman’s Book of Soul” by Sue Patton Thoele.  It’s a collection of meditations I sometimes refer to when my intuition guides me.  Today, I turned to “Culling Complications, Welcoming Simplicity”.  As soon as I read it, I knew it was the theme to write about for this article. As I want to keep with the theme of simplicity, I will keep this short and sweet, so perhaps you might spend more time…
