Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
Of course we can always create new goals and beginnings at any time during the year, but somehow when the clock strikes 12 midnight, and it’s a new year, it opens up a whole new slate of opportunities. I find it very freeing and refreshing.
With all the excitement of the possibilities that we can create for our new year, it can often be too easy to just put the previous year in an envelope and seal it shut.
Before diving into the new year, I would highly recommend taking some time, even if it’s just an hour, to write down all the aspects of 2011 that you want to celebrate. Acknowledge and celebrate the little things, as well as the big things that you have experienced and accomplished. Even if you experienced hardships and loss, there can still be a celebration of how you managed the situation and/or how you are growing from it.
When we acknowledge and celebrate our lives, we are honoring them and we allow our focus, and therefore our “mind radar” to look for more to acknowledge. This creates more connection to our humanity, our worthiness and our self esteem.
As we connect in to our worthiness and all who we are, we naturally feel more joy.
So, before you jump into 2012, go ahead and take the time now to give yourself this gift of reflection of 2011. By doing so, you will be present to all you have created and experienced, and you will feel complete.
Feeling complete and celebrating 2011, will allow you to move forward in 2012 with renewed energy to create your life in a very powerful way.
Cheers to you!
