I’ve been in “Summertime mode!”

I’ve been quiet for awhile. The reason: it’s summertime!

Having fun!

As I noted in my last ezine, summertime is the time to play, restore, rest and be present to the wonders of Nature and life in general.

Even while attending a hypnosis conference in Vegas, (Vegas is definitely in contrast to the calming effects of Nature!) I made sure I took time out to restore, refresh and “play” with friends and colleagues at the conference.

It provided the best foundation for learning, instead of trying to “do it all” which would have stressed out and overloaded my brain!

After all, I want to walk my talk. And, as many of you know, I talk a lot about the importance of restorative time to either keep stress at bay or to support us in dissipating it when it starts to take hold.

Hopefully, you’ve been giving yourself some “summertime mode” time and receiving the benefits of restoration and play this season has to offer.

Here in the Northwest it’s a fairly short season, so I am acutely aware of how precious summer is and how important this season is to my well being.

Now, that summer is showing signs of beginning to wind down, I’m finding I’m so much more refreshed and inspired to look forward to see what it is I am now wanting to create in all areas of my life.

This is fun and creative to do and I invite you to take some time to be present to what it is, as my colleague Bonnie McFarland says, “that lights you up” in your life.

See the quick easy exercise in this month’s article to support you in this discovery.

This process flows very well with my themes of stress relief tips that I’ve been giving you over the last few months, because you naturally get relief from stress when you are being present to “what lights you up.”

And, to boot, you’ll feel inspired to find solutions and actions to stay focused on those great feel good feelings!

There is more news to share, so be sure to read Healing Hypnotherapy’s Happenings in this month’s e-zine.

Enjoy the rest of the summer and please give yourself some “summertime mode,” if you have not already done so. I’m telling you, you are worth it, it is worth it and you will feel so much better when you do.

If you’ve been on “summertime mode,” I’d love to hear what you’ve been doing.

Warmly,

Jackie
