What’s Your Summer Take-Away?

It’s hard to believe summer is already beginning its wind down.

I’ve been watching my container plants—usually an abundance of showy, cascading flowers—start to look a little spent.

They’re not blooming as prolifically, as the photo shows, and I can see it won’t be too long before I’ll be cutting back many of the perennials and annuals to make space for any fall plantings I might decide to plant.

And just as those plants are showing signs of summer’s end, I’m feeling it too. I feel like I want to simply stop, take it all in, and savor these last few weeks.

What about you?

I’d love to hear how you’re feeling as summer begins to slowly fade.

As you read the main article below, I hope it encourages you to pause and reflect—not just on the themes we’ve been exploring, but on how you’ve experienced this summer yourself.

Did you allow yourself to drop into “Summertime Mode” (my favorite expression for this season)? Or did the usual everyday stresses keep you from taking a real break? Maybe you chose to use this season to do some inner work before diving back into the busy energy of fall?

Another area I’d truly love to hear from you about.

Please feel free to comment on the blogpost.

I believe when we share our thoughts, feelings, and inner explorations, we contribute to one another’s growth—and support our own expansion of what’s possible.

Warmly,
Jackie
