May is Women’s Health Month
“Sometimes the weight you need to lose isn’t on your body.”
— Unknown
When I learned that May is Women’s Health Month, I knew it was a perfect time to dig into how stress impacts so many areas of our lives-sometimes it’s very obvious, other times not so much.
One area that might not be so obvious, is how it’s related to weight issues.
As the days get longer and we start thinking about summer, many women will start fretting about their weight and want to start dieting.
While dieting can work for short periods of time, it doesn’t address what’s underneath most weight issues.
In my work with women over the last couple of decades, I’ve learned when it comes to weight issues, stress, anxiety, negative self talk and old limiting beliefs play a really big role in how our bodies gain that weight and want to hold on to it!
In honor of Women’s Health Month, I invite you to use this time to look at how your stress, any limiting beliefs and your mindset are deeply connected to your overall health and how these factors may be interfering with your ability to feel and be your best self in mind, body and spirit.
I’ll be right there with you, re-examining my own beliefs and mindsets to see how I can continue to learn how to enhance my health and well being.
After you read the article on The Stress-Weight Connection, please let me know your thoughts on the comments!

Don’t put off taking care of your health and well being.
You deserve to be healthy and enjoy your life!

Warmly,
Jackie
